Do you have a recommendation between them?ĭepends on how much you have already played. Would I be better off playing Xenonauts, or Xenonauts Community Edition, or X Division. Given a proper installation everything just works. X-Division and the XNT version on my pc are propably the only slightly bigger mods that is geared towards the convenience of the player.
Xce mod install#
If you just wanna look install whatever you see and then look what it does with your game, just dont expect a proper game afterwards. Nothing works, but everything is really interesting in its own right.
Xce mod mod#
Looking through the mod box in Xenonauts is mostly like walking through a broken toy factory. There is also Armored assault, and the Dreadnaught mod, which might or might not work. Stability wise.Īxiomatic s content, but its mostly geographical. There is the X-Pansion pack, but i wouldnt recommend it.

I think i have a fixed XNT version lying on my pc. They might break your game right away, or you might realise you are playing a completely broken game after 10 hours. XCE probably works best when you let skin textures and body mods overwrite it – you can still take advantage of the brow, eye, and scar textures, as well as its tintmasks.Įdited by Novelyst, 27 March 2021 - 03:41 PM.None of the other non-cosmetic mods are compatible out of the box. XCE already covers a lot of the ground that Mature Skin and CBBE do, so if you really want to keep it at the bottom of your load order, I would say just don't use those two. To the user who was using CBBE with XCE, since my first response was not very good – letting XCE overwrite CBBE has quite a few issues as it does not have CBBE compatible body textures. If you want to use other skin mods with XCE overwriting them, you would any of the files ending in _msn.dds as these will give you seams. Vanilla with XCE on top shouldn't give you any neck seams. Anyhow, this mod shouldn't be used on top of skin textures because almost all of them will have their own wrist and neck seams. I deleted femalebody_1_msn.dds, but it made no difference.įoot textures and body textures are in the same file – the issue is with femalebody_1_msn.dds itself. Better than vanilla but still noticeable. Nabir wrote: I have subtle neck seams too.
Xce mod how to#
Deleting femalebody_1_msn.dds seems to make the foot seam worse.Īny idea whats the problem and how to fix it? Of course XCE comes after everything in my load order, because I want to have every feature of this mod, so it would be great to keep it below the others! :) Novelyst wrote: Hey, I know this is an old post but have you tried deleting femalebody_1_msn.dds? It is the normal map, so you will keep all of the diffuse textures and it may get rid of your issue. I have really noticeable feet seams on the female body only.the feet textures don't appear to match the body. I deleted femalebody_1_msn.dds, but it made no difference.
Xce mod update#
I'm using cbbe, mature skin 2 + spec map update here from nexus combined with WICO and EEO, I have no problems with neck seams, only if I activate XCE.Īny idea whats the problem and how to fix it?
